The peace of the Risen Christ be with us. Let us renew and deepen our belief in the Resurrection and in a life after the death of our physical body. This is the last stage in our journey with Margaret. It will help us in the difficult weeks and months ahead to prepare to accept that she has moved to a different level of life. Death has been swallowed up in victory Where death is your victory Where death is your sting I am the Resurrection and the Life If anyone believes in Me, even though he dies, he will live And whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this? We do! Please spend a few moments reflecting on Margaret as she affected your life and on how you want to remember this time and Margaret herself. Let us pray Margaret, You have closed the eyes of your body You have closed the ears of your body You have closed the mouth of your body. Now, Margaret Open the eyes of your soul to see the glory of God Open the ears of your soul to hear the praise of God and the joy of the Saints Open the mouth of your soul to join in the heavenly hymn. Let us pray Margaret, you have left behind the pain and suffering of your body to begin the life of peace and joy. Help us to accept this change and to join with you in celebrating it. We pray that Margaret shares the perpetual light and that, with all the faithful departed, she will rest in peace. And until we meet again, Margaret, may the Lord hold you in the hollow of His hand.
