Swansea Bay and Mumbles

Mumbles is the seaside village where our family grew up and first attended school. The photo shows an area where the bus station once stood and a large cafe that was frequented by teenagers in our teenage years. I recall Margaret and some friends getting into trouble once for slipping out of school mid day to visit the cafe. They decided it would be much better to use the long dinner break (an hour and a half in those days) to make the 5 mile journey to the cafe as a long lunch break was very boring and boredom usually led to trouble!
